Science Day

One of the most fun moments here at RCNUWC. All the first years who took real sciences(physics, biology and chemistry)were called to the Hoegh at 8:ooam and was divided into groups of three. Each group included a biologist, chemist, and a physicist. I was the biologist and the chemist for my group.
I was teamed up with Fann(a girls from china but lived in Norway for quite a while - she speaks perfect norwegian) and Serban(a guy from Romania who happens to be our school DJ) both of them took physic and art and this made things really easy and smooth.
We were only allowed to use 30 papers, glue and scissors and had a time lapse till dinner.
We decided to name our group"ASIAN CHIXX" and yes Serban was a girl and female for the day. We made 2 hexagonal structure stuffed with paper(to make it firm) as road. It was glued to gather and was elevated by a paper box filled with scrape paper.
It took us about 6 and a half hours to get everything done, we also got some extra time to paint it. I must say our bridge looked very strong even though it didn't have a really good design. What mattered to us was the strength.
When Chris(physic teacher) tested our bridge by keeping weights on them our bridge could carry 4Kgs. It was AWESOME!!!!!!
I felt like I accomplished more than just knowledge I accomplished more than that today.
I also learnt today that I actually like working in teams and I am really happy about that.

XOXO
